Uzbekistan is increasing exports of legumes to European countries

On New Year's Eve, a batch of legume products under a contract worth 500 thousand US dollars was received from Uzbekistan to Hungary, the correspondent of the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

According to the Department of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the export support system established in the republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Export Promotion Agency and Global Export company, is systematically working to open new markets for Uzbek products.

One of the successful examples was the conclusion of a contract for the supply of legume products to Hungary in the amount of 500 thousand dollars, according to which legume products were exported from Uzbekistan to this European country for the first time. Both sides intend to continue long-term cooperation and further increase the volume of products supplied.

Earlier, Global Export established the export of legumes to companies in England, Belgium, the Netherlands, Romania and Latvia, due to the high quality and compliance with all necessary European standards of Uzbek products.

It should be noted that the consistent increase in exports abroad was made possible thanks to the compensation provided by the Government of Uzbekistan for part of the transportation costs to domestic exporters.
