Peanuts worth 54,000 US dollars have been delivered to the Netherlands from Uzbekistan, the correspondent of the news agency "Dunyo" reports.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux country, the supplier is Global Export, a company specialising in the production and export of pulses, dried fruits and nut products in Central Asia. Despite the fact that not much time has passed since its foundation, the company already has strong partnerships with companies from more than 20 countries around the world, which indicates that "Global Export" is beginning to gain worldwide recognition as a reliable producer and supplier of agricultural products.
Receiving recognition from European partners is an unconditional proof of the quality of the company's products. Thus, in June last year, Global Export, with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, for the first time established export supplies of leguminous products (beans, mung beans) to the Netherlands and Belgium. This also became possible thanks to the introduction of the international food safety standard (FSSC 22000) at the company's enterprises with financial assistance from the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan.
Another striking example is the first export of peanuts to the Dutch market, the supply of which is carried out within the framework of the concluded contract, with a large distribution company for 1 million US dollars.
